This combination of exquisite handmade dark chocolate with toasted sourdough crumbs (from their bakery) with a touch of sea salt is completely inspired! The sourdough crumbs add crunch to the smooth Venezuelan chocolate. This is a unique combination and to our knowledge the first time a chocolate bar has been made with sourdough. Handmade from flour and beans in Orford, Suffolk, UK.

Ingredients: Cocoa beans, sugar, breadcrumbs (flour, natural sourdough starter, sea salt), cocoa butter, sea salt. 70g Bar

Why do we sell this in the Snowden Flood studio shop? Pump Street Bakery is a small family owned business based in Suffolk. Along with only a few other UK producers, Pump Street are making small batch, handmade chocolate from beans imported directly from family farms and cooperatives around the world. The painstaking and obsessive care and attention to detail (it's a long and delicate process to make chocolate like this) yields a chocolate that is entirely manufactured in Suffolk and unbelievably delicious. As a complete chocoholic, their chocolate was a revelation to me, it's as if I'd been drinking vinegar for years and then someone gave me a glass of wine.  Award winning packaging!  Oh and if you are ever in Orford, Suffolk, do visit their bakery.
