The beautiful River Thames.  For eight years I worked from a studio facing it.  But even nowadays I see it and cycle over it all the time.  Sometimes I go up or downstream for walks along it.  I've often been inspired by it.  For this tea-set I've carefully drawn the path of the river starting from it's source at Thames Head and flowing around the teapot as it meanders to the sea.  This will keep your Thames daydreams strong wherever you happen to be.  Together with the matching cups and saucers you can toast the Thames along with me.

We've screen-printed this design in a spectacular silvery platinum.  The lid has a hand gilded knob and a delicate line of hand-painted platinum around each lid rim. 

5-6 cup teapot (depending upon whether you are drinking from the Thames cup & saucer or a larger mug)

Dimensions: 27 (from handle to spout) x 110 x 160 (from base to tip of knob) cms
