A beautiful short film about Robert Noble, Scottish textile mill - by Liam Dickson
One of my favourite things about being a maker is going to the factory in Stoke to work on a project. I like being with and watching people who are really brilliant at making things. I recently saw this little film about a scottish textile mill that is slated for closure. If true that's just completely tragic and why nobody wants to rescue that mill is a total mystery to me.... they are obviously brilliant at what they do and have been honing their skills for centuries which is a priceless piece of peoples heritage.
